Google Analytics Benchmarking by Trevor Claiborne [video]

In this presentation, delivered at eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit San Francisco 2011, Trevor Claiborne goes over the Google Analytics Benchmark feature.

He explains the charts on the reports, which includes Bounce Rates and Average Time on Site aggregated by countries; he shows the conversion rates by countries and notes that conversion rates are user defined, i.e. users can define it as any action on the website, which defines how high/low their conversion rates will be.

He goes on to talk about the significant increase that has been seen on tablet usage, quarter over quarter Google has seen a double in tablet usage, which is still far from mobile, but catching up fast.
