Alex Clemmons is a Manager of Analysis & Insights, Digital Intelligence. He leads day-to-day operations across multiple clients at the award winning digital data analytics firm, Cardinal Path. He has a passion for finding meaning in mountains data and will jump at any opportunity to help clients apply their data to drive results. His area of expertise include measurement strategy, testing and deep dive analysis focused on identifying areas for optimization.
Prior to joining Cardinal Path Alex spent six years on the Marketing Science team at Critical Mass, a full service digital agency in Chicago. While there he worked across automotive, financial services, CPG, home improvement and financial services verticals.
Alex has led implementations of Adobe Analytics as well as Google Analytics across traditional web, social and mobile applications. He also works to help organizations develop dashboards and regular reporting that goes beyond standard metrics definitions and paint a true picture of their marketing efforts. Some of his favorite projects have been those that go beyond digital and work to tie together multiple channels as well as determining digital’s impact on offline actions. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a double major in Economics and History and is also a graduate of the University of British Columbia's Digital Analytics Program. Outside of the office Alex can most likely be found woodworking or tinkering with things in general, snowboarding and watching the Badgers dominate the Big Ten.
